Coming into one's own artistic style is a process that is personal to every artist. The nature of enhancing technical skills can put one at odds with his or her artistic expression. Art history as well as many biographies of well known artist often reveal the complex underbelly of finding one's own voice. Having struggled through countless issues during my 27 years of painting, I feel I have a wide ranging career experience in the arts: shows, teaching and performance. For many years I taught individually and in classes. I have strengths in color, values and composition for most any medium. My work as facilitator for artist support groups, private and class art teacher feeds my experience. My choice for this work comes out of a clarity of what I have to offer and its harmony with my own inner values. I know that what is best and most important for you is about bringing information that is already there, forward.
I would describe my consulting work as logical, supportive, practical, intuitive, and insightful. Together we can determine direction.
